29th August 2023 - Today we attended a conference for budding medics and were reminded that it is never too early to start your journey to medical school. 23rd August 2023 - We've been thinking about the future this last few weeks. If you are in Year 11 or 12 and still are not sure about your future, and who can blame you, have you thought about Summer schools? This is something we will return to - REGULARLY! 22nd August 2023 - If you haven't fully decided what your A Level choices are, and you want some great objective opinion, have you explored https://www.informedchoices.ac.uk yet? It is essential to know that you are not closing any doors, so make sure you look. We are always here to help.
21st August 2023 - We hope that by now all your University pathways are finalised. Our thoughts are now shifting to the students who will be awarded GCSE results this coming week. How can you ensure that your post 16 decisions do not impact on your future choices. It is never to early to contact us so feel free to get in touch for some advice.
18th August 2023 - We can imagine that today many of you will be ecstatic - and why not? You worked hard, got the results that you wanted and are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime. Some of you may be feeling more reflective, or defeated, or both. But don't be because we believe that everything happens for a reason, so if you didn't get the grades you wanted, or your first choice university, there will always be a pathway open for you. Stay positive and explore your options.
17th August 2023 - You are the most important people in the whole process. Short and sweet today to wish every A Level student across the world the best of luck receiving their A Level results - we hope that you get the grades you have been working towards.
16th August 2023 - As A Level results day dawns upon is we are, of course, concerned for students across the globe who may be affected by the alleged grade deflation that has been at the top of the education news over recent weeks. I enjoyed reading a student perspective and we wish Daniel and many other students like him the best of luck with their results tomorrow
15th August 2023 - I read an interesting article, again to do with A Level grade deflation in The Telegraph (UK Newspaper with a paywall) which claimed that international students were being offered more places through UCAS clearing as opposed to UK students. This was especially true of Russell Group Universities according to their article. It will be interesting to see what happens as the week develops. Get in touch for expert advice.
